The distance from the capital is slight, you can get the Roman Castle in about 25 minutes by train or car.

Just off the Autostrada del Sole, it is a stopping-off place for travellers heading south from Ciampino Airport and from Leonardo da Vinci Airport.

A daily travel card called B.I.R.G. (Biglietto Integrato Regionale Giornaliero) allows unlimited travel on both buses and trains throughout the area. The ticket costs € 5,00 and covers also city underground and buses.
